Painting has been my passion since my childhood. I was one of the best students in drawing during my primary schooling. I took part in many drawing competitions and won accolades.

To pursue a career in arts, I joined a five year diploma program at Shri B A Mehta College of Arts, Amalsad, Gujarat, India after completing my high school. I achieved  Diploma in Commercial Arts with specialization in Illustrations in the year 2002.

After finishing my college, I worked as a drawing teacher and associate to Mr Dhiren Parekh, a renowned artist from south Gujarat, for 1.5 years in his art studio - Kalaruchi Kendra. This is where I learnt Sand painting (a unique kind of painting with natural sand) and other forms of creative arts like painting on stone, painting on aluminum foil, spray painting, collage painting, glass painting etc.

Today, though I do not work as a full-time drawing teacher, I am still passionate about my art and make creative sand paintings at home. I participate in various cultural events displaying this unique form of painting. 

I worked on variety of subjects in my paintings, like landscapes, illustrations, portraits, religious figures etc.
